How does Homestay address Trust and Safety?

 

  • Guests will all be healthcare staff, the platform is not available to anyone who is not employed within the NHS or where they have specifically been invited as they work in healthcare but do not have an NHS address.
  • Where individuals may have been specifically invited to join the platform on the basis that they are in healthcare/a student but without an NHS email address, their application to join would have been reviewed by someone within NHS England, an ICB or a Trust to ensure they are working within healthcare.
  • As a host, your address / contact details are only made available when a booking is made, they are not visible online prior to booking.
  • Your personal data is held in a leading secure cloud computing environment.
  • Your profile account password is one-way encrypted and therefore cannot be exposed as plain text.
