Can a Trust book or pay on behalf of a NHS Guest?

The booking should really involve the NHS Guest and NHS Host liaising directly through the NHS Homestay Hub, as this ensures expectations are aligned and makes for a better stay.

However if as a Trust would would prefer to make a booking on behalf of a Guest, you can do so, once you inform the Host that you are liaising on behalf of a perspective NHS Guest.

Typically the NHS Guest would pay the NHS Host directly for the accommodation stay, however should the Trust wish to compensate the NHS Guest for the stay, we would suggest the Trust to pay the NHS Guest directly and instruct the NHS Guest to then pay the NHS Host for the stay.

A full breakdown of the accommodation total will be available on the booking confirmation.
