How do I make a booking?
Making a Booking Request
- Guests must create a user account via signup in order to use the website.
- From the homepage, the guest can start a search with their check in / check out dates.
- Guest can browse through the various available homestays and their rooms.
- Guest must use the profile page of the homestay to select a room and contact the Host by submitting a booking request.
- Wait for the Host to reply.
Chat with the Host
- Host is notified of the request and can reply via the booking request page.
- Guest and Host exchanges messages (including a video message up to 5 min).
- The Guest is able to proceed with the booking once the Host formally accepts the request.
Confirm the Booking
- Guest is notified that the request has been accepted and they can now proceed to the checkout page.
- The Guest confirms the booking by paying the Homestay.com commission fee.
- The confirmed booking page provides the Guest with the Host's exact address and contact details.
